I don’t normally even bother with reviews, but the service that I have received from this place has forced my hand to do so.
I placed an order with the understanding that I’d have the product within two days. It’s now been over two weeks and I still haven’t received anything.
I tried to email with no avail. I tried to ring into three different extensions to have nobody answer. The fourth extension number finally worked and I spoke with the manager who didn’t seem to care at all.
He then informed me that the wheels weren’t in stock but they would ship the wheels out when they got them back in stock. Why would you advertise the wheels as being in stock if they actually weren’t? He then went on to say that I should have received an email a couple days after I placed the order notifying me of this. I didn’t receive any email, I checked.
Literally the only reason that I placed the order online was so that I could get the wheels to my address in time, as there’s not any skate shops around here. If I’d known it would’ve taken this long, I would’ve literally just drove into London to go and grab a pack.
Now that I want to go and get it, I’ve got to wait for my refund and when I asked this manager how long it would take, his exact words were “I couldn’t tell you mate”.
What’s really annoying is that I work in customer service and I’d like to think that I know a little bit about how things should run. This guy showed no empathy towards me whatsoever and spoke in a nonchalant monotone voice as if he actually didn’t care at all (which, let’s face it, he probably didn’t). Almost as if the mistake wasn’t the stores fault. Not even a “sorry sir”. I am so taken back that this kind of customer service still exists in 2020.
I won’t be shopping from here again to...
Read moreThe park it's self it really good . Great layout. That's were the positives stop. If you are over 16 and are a dedicated blader, skateboarder, bmx rider or even a scooter . Just don't bother coming. The park is basicly a creche . There are leaks all over the park from the roof so making the ramps a hazard . The scooter riders that go are all 14 and below and have no idea of park etiquette and are a danger to themselves and to others. Cutting people up . Pushing in. Standing on the coping . Spinning their lumps of metal around their head while waiting to go. I lost you t how many times I nearly got hit in the face or chins because of this. And finally just stood or sat on top of the ramps like a gaggle of seagulls. There are members of staff dotted around the park . But they are about a useful as a chocolate fire guard . More interested in facebook than making sure everyone is safe and abiding by the rules . Total waste of wages and money that could be used to fix the leaks in the roof . I've been to just about every indoor park in the UK . This is by far the most expensive and worst as skating experience goes (parks layout is awesome). The staff are friendly and approachable but don't really care about the problems you address to them . The fact that they have a etiquette video on their website . It may be an idea to get all young riders to watch this video before they enter the park as the concept of queuing and waiting your turn hasn't been taught to them . Most probably wouldn't be back unless they have a...
Read moreMy 12 year old brother visits Rampworx on a regular basis and he tells me that the ramp and park itself is fine, an all around good skate park. But on his last visit he encountered an issue with the staff at the cafe which is in the skate park. It was near closing time but the cafe was still open, my brother and his friend who are both type 1 diabetics needed to eat something when they take their insulin. They asked for some food from the cafe and told them that they are both diabetic. The staff decided to respond by laughing at them and one woman said "Ha! That's the best one yet" but proceeded to serve them after that rude remark. After receiving the food, and few more discriminating comments, one of the boys asked for a drink to go with the food which he needs because, once again, he IS suffering from type 1 diabetes. The same woman said "Diabetics can't have surgery drinks" which is completely untrue. I personally find this discrimination unacceptable as they have enough stress from their illness already, and to be mocked by an adult who is meant to work at a place they pay to go to is completely absurd, So in conclusion if you like a good park then go here but if you have any type of disability or illness then watch out or you will be this woman's next target. 0/5 purely because of...
