Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Sefton

Location: very busy retail area… Visited on the 7/ Feb at buffet time. Chosen All you can eat option with bottomless soft drinks and ice cream.

Bottomless soft drink only has sugar free ‘zero’ drinks. Don’t understand this but more and more places practice this route. I specifically hate sugar free (artificial sweeteners) drinks. The logo above the self service drink bar of the Pepsi is not sugar free logo, but the company’s original retro logo.

Ice cream is good, ‘Mr Whippy’. Vanilla flavoured and some additional toppings on side (Chocolate, strawberry, m&m’s…)

Not a big restaurant really, maybe 60 seats available. Stylish, retro, red! Spotless clean! The lady on the floor was running around without stop to make sure everything was perfect. She was helpful, looked actually happy in work!

1 hot food stand (with 8 different pizza) 1 salad bar for the customers. Wide range of salads, sauces, dippers.

Even though the pizzas were in the heater, they were stone cold. Later, they replaced the pizzas with freshly baked ones. Pizzas are very basic qualities, don’t expect much! Plain, tasteless pizza slices. Shame…as the service was so great 😞

Salads were cold, fresh… unfortunately a few of the greedy customers mixed them all, it is not the restaurant’s fault.

Also it was a big disappointment again: Greedy customers coughed all over the pizzas, salad bar, ice cream machine… disgusting!

Toilets were really dirty, also it was the customers fault.

I personally wouldn’t go back. Expensive, poor quality of pizza IN A PIZZA HUT!!!

The workers were inefficient and unqualified, they gave a lot of attitude when speaking to us, me and my friends felt so disrespected. After a long wait of our order we received a very small size pizza which is not what we expected from the last time we came the individual size was quite large, not sure why it was small this time. Also the toppings were completely mixed up and the manager treated us so badly and spoke with no manners. I also asked if the meat was halal and one of the workers said that the information was enclosed and was not allowed to share it? Im sorry what? When we complained later on we asked for the managers name and he wouldn’t give it. Overall this has been the worst experience with service and they were super unprofessional.

ALSO forgot to add something else, one of the waiters came over to our table asking “are these your drink” (with what looked like beers/alcohol on her tray) and she said this to me and my friends who are a group of kids, this is illegal as she offered these drinks to us. As a regular customer at this Pizza Hut, I am deeply disappointed by the lack of empathy and support shown to an elderly parent who visited the establishment alone. Despite her preference for a specific dish, the staff were indifferent and failed to offer any assistance. It is concerning that the business has implemented a policy that prohibits customers from ordering food without using their phones, disregarding the needs of individuals who may not be comfortable with technology. This decision has resulted in significant inconvenience and financial burden for the elderly customer, who doesn’t live in close proximity to the establishment.
