Came to Southport from Manchester for a weekend away for my mum as it’s my birthday. As we walked inside we got greeted right away with a smile and lovely welcome, the lady then asked if we wanted to sit upstairs as downstairs was a little crowded. She then made extra conversation about how long we’re staying here etc and said she will make sure we are taken care of, very lovely. She recommended some dishes to have and was so surprised that they offered halal meat which was amazing! We got served the food and noticed the dunken noodles were a little spicy (the lady did mention this but we still ordered thinking it will be fine) we told the waitress and she was able to swap it for a less spicer dish straight away. She was so lovely about it and the waitresses kept asking if we needed extra help. They even offered to take pictures of me and my mum and complimented us. We are so so happy with the service 10/10, would recommend everyone to go there! They have so many options...

Well what a nice surprise 😮. My good lady is a long time Thai food aficionado and we have tried most Thai restaurants in the area and Sam Thai is by far our favourite. Firstly the owner and husband are lovely and went the extra mile to make us feel so welcome. The young ladies serving are smashing and obviously experienced in Thai food so if you need any recommendations from the menu, just ask. You will need help as the food on offer is extensive (not expensive!). Some dishes on the menu we have never tried but we certainly will. The standard of food was tops, the best green curry we have ever tasted. From starters to a lovely free dessert the owner made for my wife's birthday it was so delicious, I can't wait to return and try something else on the extensive menu. I will also add the set lunch menu looks excellent and we look forward to trying it when visiting the Atkinson...

Hello. My second visit in Sam Thai was a bit of disappointment. We got a lunch menu 2starters and a main for £15.95 which was ideal for our little lunch snack to be shared between 2 people. So we've had 2 starters and a main between 2 of us. Food was very good. We have ordered a pancakes which I knew they are delicious. We got only one panckake. Came to the payment and I was double charged of another £15.95 and when I asked WHY? the waitress said that we had a big portions of them 2 starters and one panckake as a main. Which I don't understand why she changed the order without letting me know and the price ??? I couldn't get any more of the explanation as she couldn't speak much English, I paid the bill and walked away. Sorry Sam I don't think I'm coming back Thanks...
