As we slowly adapt to our current new norm' it's great to see what efforts are being made by venues in order to ensure the safety of their patrons. This occasion was for a birthday celebration. We had to enter from the rear entrance on Anchor Street just behind Sainsbury's. All staff wore facemasks, the place looked great since the last time I'd dined here. The service was efficient, the food well presented and good value for a very tasty meal. I'd opted for the beef roast but must admit felt rather envious of those few that enjoyed the lamb it looked great. Most had selected from a set menu with the options of some specials at an additonal cost. There was plenty of space between ourselves and other diners. All cutlery was either already on the table or arrived on a plate for you to select yourself. Staff also had gloves when serving us. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and wouldn't hesitate to revisit.

Superb dining and service experience. Excellent interaction with everyone we spoke to or dealt with from booking to drinks to food service, top notch! Two had fish and chips and one roast lamb everyone was very impressed by the quality, quantity and timing. Drinks were good “house” Wines were very good. Dessert was excellent we had a very tasty sharing plate. Good music playing pleasant atmosphere throughout the place. Highly recommend and will come again.

We were very impressed with The Office Restaurant. Three of us went for a mid week dinner and everything was great. The staff were friendly and attentive but not overly so. The food was well presented and absolutely delicious. The steamed steak pudding was up there as one of the best pies I have ever had. Only comment was the 2010s pop music was incongruous - although I’m a fan so all is good. Good place, will return and would highly recommend.

Visited The Office for a couple of quick drinks with some colleagues after work today. The venue was quite quiet but very open and welcoming. We noticed right away that there were some drinks offers available at the time, happy hour, though one colleague was charged full price for his drink rather than the offer price, no major issue, he was too polite to say anything anyway :) A young gent was setting up his equipment to perform. This started off as some nice guitar work and then grew into cover songs. He was really quite good, though the volume a little loud, and this had an effect on conversation at most tables. Prices here on our drinks were quite reasonable and the food options seemed well priced too. We didn't have any meals so will comment on this in the future as I'm sure we will...

A thoroughly enjoyable meal at The Office Bar and Restaurant. Very comfortable seating area (for 6 of us) which meant we could see each other and chat away while waiting for our meals. Great choice on menu and every one of us was delighted with our food. Attentive staff and Lucy, in particular was very friendly and helpful. Toilets clean and bright which I think is very important especially in a restaurant (and sadly not always the case). We were all so happy with our experience in The Office Bar and Restaurant we went back again the next night! Need I say more? We were on a short break from Scotland or I am sure this would become one of our regular haunts. Thanks to The Office Bar and Restaurant for a delightful and...
