I recently visited The Bus Bar, a bustling bus bar and food truck area near the Marine Lake in Crosby, north of Liverpool. With its stunning sea views, this place offers a great location to relax and enjoy some fantastic food. I rate it 4 stars out of 5 and highly recommend it.

The staff at The Bus Bar were friendly and welcoming, despite the constant busy atmosphere and queues. Their attentive service added to the overall positive experience.

The food was excellent, and one particular highlight for me was the salt and pepper fries. They were incredibly flavorful and satisfying. The Bus Bar certainly delivers on the culinary front.

In addition to the great food, The Bus Bar also features live music, which adds an enjoyable and vibrant atmosphere to the place. The combination of good food, sea views, and live music makes it a wonderful destination.

Overall, The Bus Bar in Crosby is a top-notch spot for a casual dining experience. With its prime location, friendly staff, tasty food—especially the mouthwatering salt and pepper fries—and lively live music, it's definitely worth a visit. I highly recommend...

Came last night with my friend for drinks and we are both freshly 18 and was meeting friends who had been there all day getting served drinks no problem WITH id. I walked in with my own drink not alcoholic and a tanned old women who looks like she spends too much time on the sunbeds asked to bin my drink as own drinks are not allowed so I happily binned my drink with no problem as we already had friends there. As entering the rather large man with teeth clearly done in a different country came over saying he's the owner and that he didn't want us here gave no reason at all. When asking why the owner Who's name is Andy couldn't give a valid reason for not letting us stay which was embarrassing to watch really because he had nothing to say really even with customers nearby asking what's his issue he also had no valid points to kicking us out. i wouldn't even recommend this Place to anyone unless they want to go out and be made to feel uncomfortable just for being there. Also Andy if reading this I doubt u would speak to someone ur own...

It was a rubbish day weather-wise but I was desperate to try this place after reading the reviews. The food was very disappointing for us or maybe it was a bad day for the bar. We ordered the salt and pepper chicken and chips. The gentleman serving at the food bar did not hear my partner properly so just handed over the salt and pepper chips - this was absolutely okay as people make mistakes. It was his attitude that was disappointing. After we explained we ordered the salt and pepper chicken and chips he just threw on 3 kids chicken nuggets for each one. It looked nothing like the goujons/chicken strips in the photo. I got the feeling he just could not be bothered cooking more. He then had the audacity to charge us on top for this as he just charged only for the salt and pepper chips. An extra fiver each for 3 kids chicken nuggets - rip off. Also, there was no toilet roll in the...

Visiting the area today, thought seen as its a lovely day I'll walk the dog from the leisure centre to the bus bar to have a bite to eat & a drink of something... lovely walk along the beach but alas the bus bar wasn't there or any sign it had been! Straight away realised ok fair enough it's must be just a summer thing . Im a visitor to Liverpool for the week & had found the beach & bus bar on Google maps and after reading the fantastic reviews & noting the opening times my sunday was planned! ... was so looking forward to it . Never mind I shall have to wait till next year to experience it. Gave the 3 stars just for the fab reviews . Think it would be a good idea for the owners to update to temporarily closed till....

We ate from the streetfood counter, salt n pepper chicken n chips ...it was delicious! Not cheap but the atmosphere was buzzing, music lively, mix of people young families, older couples. There are a few eateries and couple of" bars" to get drinks too. Only problem we had we had walked from further down the beach, burbo bank but the pathway is now inaccessible meaning we had to walk along the beach. So for people with mobility issues better off parking closer to the lakehouse and walking that pathway...takes about 10 mins.
