1 star â Unless Youâre Craving Disappointment, Avoid Like the Plague
Popped into Moonlight Crosby for what shouldâve been a simple, sweet treat â two waffles. Nothing extravagant. Just waffles. Fast-forward 50 minutes later⊠still no waffles, just the crushing realisation that weâd aged a decade and developed a mild case of hanger.
We ended up asking for a refund because our food clearly got lost in some dessert-based black hole.
Now, letâs talk customer service â or lack thereof. The woman serving us was giving serious âmain character in a villain origin storyâ energy. Rude? Check. Sarcastic? Check. Refused to give her name like she was protecting state secrets? Also check. strutted around like she was doing the Moonwalk â literally â wearing one blue glove like she was auditioning for a tribute act. Food hygiene clearly not part of the show.
I mentioned the whole ordeal to another staff member, who literally laughed and said, âThatâs just how she is.â Ah, lovely. Nothing says âwe value our customersâ like turning a hygiene hazard with attitude into a personality quirk.
If you enjoy being ignored, insulted, and possibly given food handled with bare hands, then this is the place for you.
As for me? Iâll be satisfying my dessert cravings somewhere that doesnât feel like a customer service...
   Read moreI would stay away (especially delivery) I ordered food on Uber eats at 9:15 and was given an expected time of 9:25-9:35 which was soon changed too 9:50-10:10 which I didnât mind however the time got to 10:30 and still no sign? I tried calling the restaurant but the phone was off, why would the phone not be on in a place where people pay for there service! The restaurant shut at 11 and I still hadnât had any updates or no answered phone calls, when the food arrived at 11:20 the driver didnât offer an apology or an explanation he just handed the food and walked away and banged on the door with no respect of the time which isnât acceptable after paying ÂŁ35 and waiting 2 hours! When I got to the food it was all cold and chips were soggy and drinks were melted. It was honestly ridiculous, they could have at least added a note to say sorry, or even a freebie but nothing which shows lack of customer service, clearly do not have high standards! I would like to hear from the manager for an explanation for my order and how this issue...
   Read moreHave ordered from here many times now and after my order on Tuesday evening via uber eats would never order again The order was accepted at 9.08pm with estimated delivery time between 10-1020pm. When it hadn't arrived by 1030 I tried to call but the phone rang out. Uber eats was of no help it just kept saying it would was on its way. By 11 we gave up hope of it ever arriving as that's when the shop closes, still couldn't cancel the order or get in touch with the shop. Gave up on it arriving and got into bed around 1130 figuring I'd try and get a refund in the morning. 1145pm nearly 3 hours after the order was accepted the door bell went. Waking the entire house up. Delivery driver looked out of it and offered no apology or explanation as to why it took so long. I can't fault the food, aside from being cold (or ice cream starting to melt) the food was the same high standard that keeps us coming back for more. 3 hour wait for a delivery is unacceptable I would recommend avoiding, or atleast...
