The Grazing Lounge — Restaurant in Sefton

We just had the most fabulous lunch, sat outside , in the beautiful sunlight at The Grazing Lounge. I had the ploughman's platter it came with a good quality pork pie, 2 pork and black pudding sausage rolls, a nice thick slice of ham, 3 different cheeses (cheddar, double Gloucester and chives and chilli cheese) plus pickles, granary bread and biscuits for cheese. I have a hearty appetite, but I couldn't finish it. My daughter had the mini cheese platter which was much, much larger than the name suggests. Same 3 cheeses as the ploughman's but also included a small bunch of grapes. My wife had smashed avocado on granary bread topped with poached eggs (which wasn't on the menu but they kindly cooked especially for her). Fantastic food. Wonderful, friendly service and brilliant value for money. We also took 2 dogs who were spoilt rotten with treats, fresh chicken and lots of attention! One of the best lunches I have had in Southport. Almost forgot, the £39 bill included 3 bottles of beer an Americano coffee and a diet coke...

A Hidden Gem in Southport!

I’ve been to Grazing Lounge several times now and it never disappoints. The food is absolutely amazing – always fresh, full of flavour, and you can tell real care goes into every dish. I honestly can’t get enough.

Terrie, the owner, is an absolute star. She’s warm, welcoming, and creates such a relaxed, friendly vibe in the place. Plus, it’s dog-friendly, which is a huge bonus! If you're lucky, your dog might even get treated to a bowl of chicken leftovers – mine did, and Lola absolutely loved it.

We hosted our engagement party at The Grazing Lounge, and it was a wonderful experience! The team was incredibly flexible and helpful, allowing us to handle the setup ourselves while ensuring everything we needed was in place.

The grazing platter was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious – our guests couldn’t stop complimenting it. The drinks were also fantastic, it was a very relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.
