This is a quite large Wetherspoons converted from a former small art cinema. The decor is very interesting and being a cinema ceiling very high with murals on walls. For the Wetherspoons it is kept very clean. There are large tables to accommodate eight or 10 people on the selection of four and two person tables also
The food service and atmosphere I’ve rated 5 out of 5 as I have not normally been disappointed here and sometimes when I am disappointed about food staff have always accommodated our needs
The Queens picture house is about 300 m from Waterloo railway station on the Liverpool to Southport line . 2hour Parking eight till five is available on one side of the road only and can get quite full weekends. No parking restrictions after 6pmMore parking is available in the streets nearby.

Go on drink and be merry. And if you’re hungry, be sure to have some...
Read moreWe went yesterday as group of 6 girls for christmas drinks after work on our last day. The pub was loud as you'd expect from this time of year and we were having a really good time. A staff member came over and asked us to keep the noise down which we were a bit stunned about. We said the whole pub is loud and asked who had complained as we were certainly not cursing or being beligerent in any way. She told us everyone in the pub had complained and she'd heard us swearing herself. After a few people from surrounding table assured us they diddnt complain and one person complaining about our treatment our night continued but it wasn't the same as before. I ordered chips to the table through the app and when it came the waitress just threw/dumped the knives and forks on our table we just couldn't understand the attitude we were getting from staff so I'd advise anyone wanting to go here don't enjoy yourselves to much or they'll take...
Read moreUsed to love this place. Lately it has become more like a nursery and childminder centre, with entitled parents leaving their toddlers and screaming misbehaving kids bother customers. I was trying to enjoy my drink peacefully in a half empty pub, only to have a granny aggressively ask me to move a chair so a toddler could literally roam where I was sitting behind. Giving me the evil look like I have no right to be here. Funny thing is: I was having a coffee, and they were just sat there without ordering to wait for the rain to stop. I mean, really ? It's a pub, I am not here to be stared at by the pro child patrol, and if I were to stay for alcohol, I don't want non paying toddlers or condescending adults anywhere near me. I would much rather dogs being allowed at the Spoon than flocks...
