Bubble tea is nice but rude staff member lets the place down
My boyfriend and I came in here earlier this afternoon. We've been here multiple times in the past and had good experiences. However, this time around there was this girl serving on the till who was rude, abrupt, unprofessional and incompetent. When it came to paying, I explained to her that my card isn't contactless and that I'd have to insert it. She completely ignored me, grabbed my card and proceeded to place it against the contactless scanner. I explained to her again that my card isn't contactless. This time she inserted my card into the machine. After I paid, she demanded that I write my name on a piece of paper that came out of the machine. I was confused since I've never been asked of this before from any shop when purchasing something. Although I was very confused, I wrote my name down on the paper and she took it off me. She did not explain what the reason was for her demanding this information. I would've asked what her reasoning was, but she could barely speak English and came across as extremely abrupt and unfriendly. To make matters worse, she mixed up our order and seemed frustrated with us although this was her own mistake. Lovely bubble tea place but this staff member completely lets it down. The small girl who wears the white covid mask and the black cap with the white rim needs customer service training immediately....

I was disappointed they didn't offer basic matcha tea - the two options were matcha boba and matcha with "a cream cheese top". The waitress recommended the latter, though I wasn't sure what to expect. She assured me it'll taste "a bit like cheesecake".
The medium-sized drink was much bigger than expected, and I liked the durable plastic cup they used. Regarding the matcha, it was quite pleasant (and tasted like a usual matcha latte), as the straw wasn't sucking up the cream cheese until the end. That said, tasting the cream cheese at the end was awful. It tasted lumpy and sickly. As it is quite popular, I guess it is an acquired taste for others, but it's not my cup of tea. I'll not be trying it again, though I may visit to try any of their other drinks on offer...

Ordered a bubble tea for takeout so didn’t try any other desserts.
It was quite disappointing, the tea was okay, but it was quite flat, bubble / boba was nice and soft but not much flavour.
The biggest let down is the packaging, attempted to poke with the paper straw, but to no avail. Ended up trying to peel off the film to fit the straw in, as you can see, it doesn’t even peel nicely. I guess it’s safe to say that the tea is well protected from leakage, and also from the person who’s trying to drink it.
Beverage: roasted milk tea, one size, £5.30 The printed menu is quite small too, and the menu on screen...
