EDIT: Downgraded to 1 star simply because the lad has a face like a smacked arse every week and also he was speaking disgustingly to a customer that was questioning being charged a surcharge as we walked in. Charge 50p to use a card machine (illegal) if it's under £10. Cleverly also set the limit higher than the price of say 2 drinks for you and a friend so you can avoid the charge. When questioned, they responded "Yeah its fine because we've got a poster up about it". Not the point and also not an excuse, the transaction costs peanuts. Also the older lad walks about with a face like a slapped arse, and the older woman acts like customers are a hindrance to her day. Would rate 1 star if it wasn't for the view and the fact they serve a refreshing pint right next to a football pitch.

Worst food ever, my year 10 food tech group can cook better. Sloppy vegetable lasagne with peas and cauliflower in the mix and falafel wrap- both meals clearly just microwaved as the bread was soggy and the lettuce limp. The chef's were stupid outside as we arrived and were slobbing about whilst we were there, the girls behind the bar were lovely but the interior was dated and dirty and the sauce bottles were all empty. The place should be buzzing with the boating lake and size of the building but we will never come back. The only saving grace was the chips! Bad form guys!!

After a day at the office we stumbled upon the diamond that is the dam house, wow what a beer garden. We ordered a variety of burgers and pizzas between us, all at £5 delightful. The selection off draughts on offer was unbelievable. Proper value for money. I would definitely go again and recommend to everyone

No stars. Don't know about food but beware if you park here even if paid using the Phone and Pay app or Just Park app that the terms are not clearly stated on the notice nor in the app. You may get a fine by the Civil Enforcement company. Dodgy unclear parking signage that doesn't show you can't park there beyond a certain time, I'm still not sure what time that is but they still take your parking money for it and then give you a PCN.

You think you are paying for 4 hrs but don't get the full 4hrs.

AVOID parking there. The pub should get a different parking provider as now I see that many other customers are also facing...
