So in terms of convenience, it's quite good. Mostly come in for hot drinks which are market price and decent. It gets additional points for not being Starbucks which is across the road. Point knocked off for the glaring spelling error which I have pointed out both in person and by email and nothing has been done. It's small but it consistently has my wee at a low boil whenever I see the menu.

Great café, attached to Weston Park Museum. Fantastic selection of cakes, sandwiches, pastries and hot/cold drinks. Service friendly and we were advised that our food and drinks would be brought to the table, as we'd ordered a bacon and brie Ciabatta which needed to be warmed. Food arrived quickly and was delicious and good value. Will definitely return again soon.

Ambulo Café is part of the Weston Park Museum building. It's a light and airy space inside, with some outdoor seating outside, too. There's a selection of hot and cold drinks, and light bites (sandwiches, and hot food). Quite pricy.

Visited Saturday lunchtime. We chose a nice table by the window, it was covered in crumbs and so we asked for it to be cleaned and that was done quickly. I couldn't put my bag on the floor as it was covered in food. There wasn't a menu on the table so we went to look at a large peg board on the wall. We wanted a hot meal but didn't understand a lot of the items (eg. Grilled Cheese, 4 cheese, £6) We picked Quiche, salad and chips £6 as we understood what that was. Turned out that this board is at the till point end of the line and you have to walk back to the other end of the counter to queue for drinks etc. We asked for glasses for our bottled drinks when we ordered the food and didn't get any. It would be so much better to have a proper board at the start of the queue with a full description of the meals available, not a hard thing to do! The food arrived in reasonable time and was very nice. Shame about the lack of cleanliness and poorly organised menu. Some of the staff at the counter looked as though they didn't want to help, no smile or eye contact. The person who brought our meals and wiped the table was brighter and more helpful. Wish it was better, could be very good with a bit of...

The café is well situated and spacious. The prices are reasonable.

Unfortunately the menu is extremely limited. 3 years ago they used to have huge salad bowls and a lot of variety. Now you will only find very basic sandwiches and sausage rolls. If you have any allergies or dietary requirements, I would avoid going there. Two members of staff were not able to explain what was in a sandwich. They stated that they had no vegan options which is a bit mystifying as they serve chips. It was not safe for me to eat here. I do get that no shop is obliged to offer options but not being clear whether or not something on your menu has lactose is frankly concerning for health and safety standards.

The service was very flippant too. Members of staff were also not wearing masks. They do have outdoor sitting which is always a plus.

In short, the whole good points are the location and prices. But it is certainly not an...

Nice decor but very expensive food and drink, cost £7.50 for 2 sausage rolls( which sadly ended up in the bin it was like eating raw gristle in pastry)and a drink which sadly took nearly 15 mins just to get served at the counter. Whilst me and my daughter was sat we had a member of staff asking if we had ordered the hot food they was walking about with. Me and my daughter visit the museum regularly but this is our first time in the cafe and sadly...
