Have you ever had hashbrowns? I’ll answer that for you: you haven’t until you’ve tried THESE hashbrowns. I’m a big foody, and while hashbrowns might seem like a simple side that you’d have with a breakfast or on a burger; they are one of my favourite pieces of a meal, and in all honesty, these are the best I’ve ever had… so much so, I often order a portion of them for my lunch, and they named a special after me! Make sure you ask for the Charlie Special (6 Cajun spiced hashbrowns with bbq mayo) 🫡
I have to add, the hashbrowns aren’t the only reason I love this place. Mike and Rach run it on their own, and have done for the last 5 (?) years, even through covid and lockdowns, and the sense of community they have created in this personality-rich cafe is unparalleled. There is art all over - a lot of it for sale - that their customers have produced, and it’s so rare to find somewhere that supports local and queer artists. It’s also wonderful to see so many people gaming, hanging out, and just enjoying each other’s company!
If you’re in to food and gaming, this is definitely the place for you! They have everything from 80s and 90s classics, all the way to recent and current releases; spoilt for choice doesn’t...

Read moreWhat an evening! We attended one of the quiz nights and it didn't disappoint. You must be member for the quiz nights but don't let that deter you as for a small fee you have membership to this treasure trove of gaming, food and of course the monthly quizzes.
When you arrive, you get a friendly welcome from Mike (the owner) along with other gamers. There's a real sense of community and would highly recommend a visit.
There is a wide variety of food and drinks for all, including plenty of specials, vegetarian options and alcohol is also served here. The menu is well thought out and the meals were freshly made. Shakes are certainly something I'll be going back for.
