Service was so slow, the server said he hadn't done bottomless before so had to ask his manager which seemed to take forever for some reason. The food was nice overall but some bits wasn't great, we had the bottomless which is from the tapas menu, the cookie dough was burnt around the edges, my friend had the brownies which she said also tasted burnt, I had the iced latte mochi, which we tried several mochi flavours, the others was lovely but the latte ones tasted freezer burnt, instead of having a chewy outer and soft ice cream in the middle these were all overly chewy and had ice stuck all around them like they had been stuck in the back of a freezer for quite some time. We had to finish the 3 plates (per person) before you could order the next 3 but it took so so long between each one it was ridiculous atleast 20/30 mins each time. We got asked at the start do we have any allergies and said no but I said my friend can't have certain chocolate and she said it's ok she just wouldn't order those ones which she didn't. She ordered the hot doughnuts with a side of Salted Caramel dipping sauce yet they came with chocolate sauce drizzled allover, so we kindly asked the waiter if we could have some without the chocolate ontop as it didn't mention it had chocolate on it on the menu and he said he had to ask his manager, he then came back and said he can't replace them because she didn't state it as an allergy. I then asked saying that she didn't think she needed to as it never stated chocolate in it and he said 'yes it says it is the description'. I then got the menu out infront of him and pointed out no where did it say chocolate on there and he said ok but even without the drizzle they are chocolate filled doughnuts?? If they are chocolate filled doughnuts then surely it shouldn't be advertised on the menu like they are plain?? Misleading and ridiculous they refused to swap it to accommodate us when it was their mistake. We then noticed when we split the bill one of us got charged more as they added on an item that was included as part of the bottomless and charged ut extra.... overall I just wouldn't bother to be honest. It was ok but the service made it an...

Read moreI’ve been a repeat customer at Heavenly Desserts and usually enjoy coming here, but unfortunately, today’s experience was disappointing enough that I don’t think we’ll be returning.
I visited around midday with two friends and our young children. The restaurant was empty at the time, so we kindly asked if we could sit at a booth - mainly to help keep the kids settled and avoid them running around. The front-of-house staff member refused, saying the booth wasn’t big enough, even though we explained we were fine with it and just needed the space to manage the kids more easily. It felt unnecessarily rigid, especially when the restaurant was quiet and we were trying to make things easier for everyone.
Later, I went to the counter to order something extra for my child that I forgot to order, and my child simply wanted to point out what they wanted - but instead of a friendly response, we were met with rudeness. The waiter told us to go sit down and said he would come over, doing so with a clear attitude and frustration. It felt like we were being a burden rather than customers.
To be clear - the food was great, no complaints at all there. We genuinely enjoyed the desserts and appreciate the kitchen staff for that. But the tone and approach from the front-of-house staff really let the experience down.
As a family, we try to support businesses like this, and we expect a basic level of courtesy and flexibility, especially when dining out with children. Today’s visit left us feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome, which is not what you want from a place that promotes itself as a premium dessert experience.
I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and addresses how families are treated. Great food should be matched by great service - or at least respectful,...
