McDonald's — Restaurant in Sheffield

Wait times at lunch are pretty long to say it's supposed to be "fast food" but I can over look that. The main issue is when I'm ordering I keep getting interrupted. It's no fault of the operator but the business model. "And what drink" "medium or large" etc etc. I'm half way through my order. I'm ordering and telling you what I'd like but instead get interrupted constantly and if I'd just be left to my own order you'd get all those details. By all means if by the end of the order I haven't specified anything like a drink etc then ask. But to do that mid way order the operator doesn't get chance to actually listen to my order therefore missing things out. So now a wait is 40 minutes for food but the order is wrong because when i said no cucumber and no chilli sauce for example on my wrap. I get the wrap with absolutely nothing on it at all. Even though lettuce mayo and tomato is what I like. This doesn't happen all the time but more often than it should. Not to mention being interrupted 3 or 4 times sometimes through a simple order is getting really annoying. Listening to customers is key not...

I have previously given this MacDonalds a good review but I have now had to significantly adjust my opinion following a visit this morning. We were the only ones in at 8.10am and there were many staff behind the counter and in the "kitchen" area. I won't bore you with the details but basically, there was a long wait for food and upon querying we were apologetically informed that all staff were dealing with Deliveroo orders. (There was one deliveroo order showing on screen when we got in). Finally our order arrived, after almost twenty minutes, with apologies. Two porridges in the order were cold it appears that they were put to one side whilst they did a deliveroo. They said they would replace the porridges. After five minutes someone came to apologise that there was no porridge left. They asked if they could offer anything else but work called for some of us so by then it was too late. 15 minutes for Pancake breakfast that was warm at best & they forgot to put the sausage on so had to return to the counter then only a knife to eat it with as they had run out of forks then they have run out of butter so had to eat pancakes with just syrup on with just a knife 😂 try it it’s interesting! No napkins nothing to steer my coffee with so by this time I was sick of going back to the counter ! Looked like the manager stood talking to a girl while they were clearly busy with delivery orders so I’m my mind he should have been getting his hand in .
