Smashed and Pulled — Restaurant in Sheffield

Really impressed with the quality of the food. Under no reccomendation it was literally just a quick Google search as I was passing through the City. The place is well lit and has good presentation, both inside and outside. A modern look with a clean easy, simple to read menu. They also have leaflets too. The staff were very generous and gave me reccomendations based on my preferences. They take card which is a big plus for me, I don't like to carry cash. The waiting time wasn't long either. I got the mixed meat burger which was a smash beef patty and chicken. The bun was fresh. The meat was absolutely lovely. The burgers melted in your mouth and I really enjoyed the taste of it. I even got some buttermilk wings and they did no dissapoint either! Very satisfying. I paid around £25 for 2 people, 2 burger meals and some wings. I would say slightly on the pirceier side however definitely worth it when it comes to the overall experience and taste! If your passing through like I was, or have been past many times before. I’m leaving this review here because I don’t know if the issue lies with the restaurant or the courier, and I didn’t want to commit it to Uber Eats without knowing who’s at fault.

The food itself was really tasty, great burger, delicious wings, and a lovely mango drink. The loaded fries had the potential to be amazing, but unfortunately, they arrived stone cold, and cold fries just aren’t enjoyable. My burger and wings were also cold, which was really disappointing, especially considering how close I was to the restaurant.

The main issue was the delivery, my order was delayed by two hours, and by the time it arrived, it was barely edible. I completely understand that delivery times can be unpredictable, but for a hot meal, this made a huge difference to the experience. If I’d realised how long it would take, I would have picked it up myself, but I was babysitting at the time.

I wanted to leave this review because the food itself deserves recognition, but the way it arrived meant I didn’t get to properly enjoy it. I hope this can be improved in the future because I’d love to order again under better...

I've been twice, once a take out and once dining in. Both were brilliant, and pleasant experiences. The burgers are so saucy and flavoursome, the smashed buff burger is to die for. Even their sauces are just right, the garlic mayo richness and texture is spot on, not too runny or too thick. Same goes for the chilli dip,the balance of spice is perfect, enough for a kick but not too much to burn your tongue. The chips are so crispy (note: portion sizes of chips are generous which is a bonus) Also tried the shredded chicken loaded fries in smoked BBQ you'll see in the pic I attached, they were so tasty. And to top it off, the service is so friendly, they always ask if everything was okay...a small gesture but goes a long shot especially when they ask in a non scripted way that some food joints do.
