The Albion — Restaurant in Sheffield

I went in when the football was on at Bramall Lane so of course it was busy as owt but to be fair we weren't waiting more than a couple of minutes to get served. Well staffed bars inside and out saw to that. Some good drinks on offer including Pale Ales and Sheffield Pilsner. The pub itself is really quite small but the beer garden outback more than quadruples the size, plus they've decked it out nice with heaters and undercover. I'm impressed. I'll definitely pop back...

Visited during a heatwave & the women's Euro championship with a game on at Bramall Lane which is a 4 min walk away. Atmosphere nice & friendly with family type football fans. The pub features several local types of beer & lager which I sampled one of each & both tasted well kept. A fantastic beer garden /courtyard with neat benches & tables with half of it under a wooden shelter complete with big t.v & a small bar, it looks like but wasn't in use at the time...

Always very relaxed atmosphere and never busy. Sadly I feel this is because so little welcome or chitchat is offered over the bar, sometimes the bar staff seem a step beyond indifferent. Today I got a smile from the manager (I'm a regular and this is rare) So yeah. Swings and roundabouts. I like both a quiet drink and a messy night in here cos we're always left alone.
