Racist and homophobic behavior not dealt with by ineffective staff.
This used to be a great pub, unfortunately the management have left the running of it to kids who while very pleasant just dont have the backbone to deal with the more difficult customers.
Sadly when a friend of mine was being physically threatened by an incredibly drunk customer the girls running the place had no answer and were too timid to throw him out. They lied about ringing the police and when they put the landlord on the phone to controlĀ 'John' he told the landlord where to go - so that clearly worked.
John was well know by the staff and other customers as the local drunkard yet they did nothing to control him and still served him, it was only when I pointed out it was illegal that they said they would stop. The staff just hoped that the situation would police itself, this could have turned very nasty and John might find other people in Sheffield are not quite...
