If you're coming to the Grindstone for drinks, I'm sure you'll have a great time.
...but the food was beyond awful. I trusted it would be good thanks to it being a True North bar/kitchen and associated with the Broadfield. Wish I'd read the reviews before!
I booked for a table of 9. Got asked to send across our pre-orders ahead of time, as they wanted to ensure the kitchen would have everything in stock - perfect.
When we arrived, it was already the wrong number of people booked in for the festive platter - a sign of things to come...

We were a table of 9 and were asked to preorder our meals as we were a large table and to ensure the kitchen had everything for our meal. We all found the whole experience quite funny but still would not recommend anyone wasting their money on the food which everyone else in the pub seemed to know as we were the only table eating. After the meal we ended to walking to The York and all of us were complaining about stomach pains and several members of the group are still feeling off today from it. So learn from us go for the drinks not...
