HOPELESS SERVICE...
Not for the first time have I had to wait for an order when it’s been sitting on the counter for a while. But this time, I was able to time it. Number came up on the screen long before the order had even been picked. So I waited, and waited a fair while. Then it looked like it arrived, at least a good moment after it had appeared on that screen. Girl No. 1 looks at it. Ponders over it. I looked at my watch. Girl talks to a colleague. Looks at my order again. Folds over top of bag. Looks at another order. Talks to colleague again. Moves away from counter. Other girl (no.2) gets closer to my order, looks at it. Talks to other colleague. Looks at order again. Refolds top. Fiddles around with a drink for the other order on the counter. Looks at my order again and then decides to call my number out. That whole process took somewhere in the region of 90-100 seconds. I really wish I’d video’d that because I would have been posting it online to show how hapless that whole situation was. If anyone from that branch of McDonalds reads this soon (approx 6.40pm 06/04/19), look at any video footage you have and seriously ask yourselves WHY, because it’s a joke. That order could have been despatched when girl no. 1 looked at it. Instead, they made 1 customer extremely annoyed. When I complained, I was told they like to issue their orders in sequence! WHAT? That doesn’t happen in most other branches. As soon as an order is ready, it’s called out. There were only 3 orders on the counter at the time. Only 1 was called out while I snoozed. Not satisfied with the first response, I called over the ‘duty’ manager and spoke to him too. At least he attempted to agree with me, but whether anything will change, we shall see. Anyway, because of the wait, the order was refilled. The only positive thing that came out of that sorry saga was a hot burger & Apple Pie rather than a...
Read moreDear McDonald's Management, Windsor road.
I am writing to bring to your attention an unfortunate experience I had at your branch this morning.
I visited the establishment with the expectation of enjoying a pleasant breakfast, but unfortunately, I was met with disappointment. I ordered a cappuccino, a favorite morning pick-me-up of mine. However, when I received my drink, not only was it scalding hot to the point of being undrinkable, but it was also incorrect.
Promptly after realising the mistake, I approached the staff member who had served me, seeking a resolution. To my dismay, her response was far from professional. When I expressed my concern, she retorted with, "What am I supposed to do? I didn’t make the drink." This dismissive attitude was disheartening and not indicative of the customer service standards I have come to expect from McDonald's.
I believe feedback is essential for growth and improvement, and it is in this spirit that I reach out to you. Ensuring that staff members are adequately trained in customer service is crucial for maintaining the reputation and customer satisfaction that McDonald's is known for. I trust that this incident will be taken as an opportunity to reinforce the importance of empathy, courtesy, and effective problem-solving in dealing with customers.
Please understand that this message comes from a place of constructive criticism rather than malice. I am a loyal McDonald's customer, and it is my sincere hope that my feedback contributes to improving the service for everyone.
I would appreciate it if you could look into this matter, and I am open to discussing this further should you require any more details about my visit.
Thank you for taking the time to read my concerns. I look forward to your response and to a better experience...
Read moreI used to like this place but I noticed that, staff which works there is honestly careless and don't really care about customers. I went couple of time and I ordered chicken mayo burger without mayo with extra lettuce and when I arrived at home what I've got - chicken mayo burger with mayo and no lettuce!!! Plus the person who works behind the counter HADER (I think that's his name) it's mean and doesn't know how to talk to customer. He talk to me in kind of rude manner plus there was another lady next to me was waiting more than 10 min for her order because staff was having fun time ! Another lady was complaining about her order being wrong the day before , same as mine ! Atmosphere behind the counter it's a joke , I saw him slapping one of the staff and I could see it was really painful for the guy (but maybe for him it was a joke ) it wasn't for me as a customer to see things like that . This guy looks like he wears a wig and got different uniform the others . Of he is a kind of manager, it's wrong person on wrong position ! No way I'll be returning to this...
