Regretably we were very disappointed with our lunchtime visit today. Although we were seated quickly and the table and benches were sanitised for us before we were allowed to sit. Things went downhill from there, we waited approximately 15 minutes for our drinks to come and food order to be taken, we then waited a further 37 minutes for the food to arrive, ironically our table number was 37 but we didn't realise that would be the wait time. The killer then was that whilst the fish and chips were hot and fresh, the burger and chips were far from hot and had a dry limp side salad. It appeared that possibly the burger had been cooked first and had been sat waiting for the fish and chips to catch up. My partner refused to eat the burger and although we were refunded without question no replacement food was offered. We are in the food business with our own café and appreciate this was a busy period which could explain the wait, although we were not warned there would be a wait. However, it does not explain or...

Creeks End Inn in Kingsbridge offers a delightful experience for anyone looking to enjoy a cozy and welcoming atmosphere along with quality food and drinks. My recent visit to Creeks End Inn left me thoroughly impressed.

From the moment I entered the establishment, I was greeted with a warm and inviting ambiance. The inn's charming decor and friendly staff immediately made me feel at ease. The bar area is a comfortable and relaxed space, perfect for enjoying a pre-dinner drink or unwinding with friends.

Moving on to the restaurant, I was thoroughly impressed by the quality of the food. The menu features a wonderful selection of dishes to suit all tastes. The ingredients were fresh, and the attention to detail in the presentation was evident. I particularly enjoyed the local seafood offerings, which were cooked to perfection and packed with flavor. It's clear that the chef takes great pride in creating dishes that not only look beautiful but also...

Table was dirty even though we had booked, had to wait for it to be cleared, and we were wedged into a corner by stairs that had constant foot traffic, leather on the chairs was peeling. Staff don't know how to pour a pint, watched several attempts and was just shocking. Really slow service by bar and wait staff, and bar staff are extremely loud and shouty. Others seated after us were served food before us. Forgot my partners coffee so had to go get it after 10mins, tho were told they'd bring it over. Food took ages to come out and the salad was limp and had started going brown on the edges. Salad advertised with a crusty roll, got a limp slice of brown bread instead. Chips were frozen, not fresh potatoes. Dessert was tasteless and frozen solid. Really disappointed and won't be back. If you're happy with basic pub fare in a worn and tired bar, this is for you! One highlight, the fish was freshly cooked! Overall tho, don't bother....

Visited on the 3rd of August. Don't know the area so went off the TripAdvisor reviews which were quite good. Prebooked week in advance. We were sat outside and told there were no seats available inside. We were about to leave as didn't want children to seat next to table who smoked heavily. Then magically there was table inside available. Waiting long time for our meal wouldn't be a problem but what we received wasn't worth waiting for. Average burger, ok-ish hot dog still Ok, wouldn't write review over that. Worst of all was tiny piece of overcooked chicken smothered with packet sauce accompanied by soggy, watery vegetables. As nobody checked on our meal we paid and I left hungry. When paying I received comment 'it's normally well received dish'. Offer of refund was made but If I had at least chance to order something edible instead I wouldn't be writing this review.

Nice to see a busy pub in the day! Staff are friendly and work well as a group, the management are always hands on with the rest of the team which is always a good sign. The food is really good and reasonably priced, plus you can see into the kitchen so it’s clean. Big indoor and out door areas. Tables outside are both under a covered area and out in the sun but they do have umbrellas if you require. Seating area overlooks the market square and is just across the road from the river 😊 Every time we come it’s been lovely, we get the bus, have lunch and a few drinks then back on the bus. You can see the bus depot from the pub! It’s a 5 minute walk tops, that’s stopping with a poorly person btw. It’s about a minute walk I recon. Nice clean pub. Long opening hours, appeals to all age groups too. Totally recommend 😊
