This place turned out to be a delightful surprise for lunch. The atmosphere was inviting, and we were greeted warmly upon arrival. We decided to try their focaccia, and we were not disappointed. The bread was perfectly baked, with a nice crust and soft interior, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. Each bite was a delicious combination of savory and aromatic ingredients.

However, I must note a minor drawback: the latte I ordered didn't have a strong coffee flavor; it was quite light. Despite this, the overall experience was fantastic, and I would definitely recommend this place to others looking for a satisfying lunch option. Also, it's...

Paid for Afternoon tea as a birthday gift (bought a voucher for 3 people). Loads of food on this afternoon tea, scones and pastries didn't seem the freshest. Finger sandwiches nice and fresh, cheese, cucumber, smoked salmon, ham & mustard. 1 small sausage roll, cheese scone and cheese straw. Caramelized apple cake, plain or fruit scone, jam and clotted cream, 1 bite lemon meringue pie, piece of fudge, piece of honeycomb and a pistachio macaron. £17 per person and included tea or americano coffee. I had to pay the difference for cappachino and lattes. Which I did think was poor considering the price of the...

UPDATED My first review was written before the cafe was run by the current owners. And it was less than favorable. The good news is the cafe now fits the glorious surroundings of Ayscoughfee gardens. Everything has been updated including the menu. I had a beautiful ham hock cheese and pickle toasted sandwich, and we are not talking bland run of the mill pickle, cheese or ham but amazingly selected ingredients, but the cost reflects this. The chips were to die for, i don't tend to have chips when eating out, but these home made chips tasted heavenly! The coffe is pretty good too. So good to see such an...

The food was lovely. Really good value for money and the service was prompt and polite. It was very busy when we visited, which was the first Monday lunchtime in August, so there were lots of families and small children. There's plenty of outside seating, but not so much of it is undercover. Although we didn't need it today, we would have done just 24 hours ago. Because it was busy there was a short wait for some people so it is best to book a table ahead of visiting. However, although we booked online through their contact us page, but no one ever came back. We've no idea whether we'd booked or not
