Went in this pub for the first time because I heard it was nice for the weirdo behind the bar to say he won’t serve me and that he doesn’t need a reason. Really strange encounter (reply to response) - I understand that he did not need a reason to serve me but the fact that he didn’t just leads me towards discrimination and leaves the pub with a very negative reputation, I have also found out the reason we wasn’t served after writing the review and can now confirm that it was discriminatory as the individual that was with me which led the man behind the bar to not serve us had never actually been in the pub. The Lincoln Arms is what you might call proper pub. Serving a really good looked after cellar of beers. The landlady and her husband are proficient bar people have come from a background of publicans.. The staff also very attentive and very friendly with all the customers. I have been going in the Lincoln now for 3 yrs with my partner and have never seen any trouble.
