Lincolnshire Poacher — Restaurant in South Holland

Just had a meal at the LP. The seats are very hard, especially when you have to wait a long while for your meal. As the plates were not hot the vegetables soon cooled down. The menu stated turkey and cranberry pie and we expected a pastry crust but received turkey in gravy covered with mashed potato and no taste of cranberry at all. Came to Spalding for the day and found this pub along the river front. We received the most amazing welcome and the drinks were lovely, cold and fresh.

The two men behind the bar were really friendly and told us about other good places to drink in the area as we weren't sure.

Thoroughly recommend... lots of indoor seating in snugs and more open areas as well as two outdoor...
