Costa Coffee — Restaurant in South Kesteven

Due to an illness and bei no registered disabled I politely asked to use their toilet facilities. A blonde elderly lady gave me permission and understood. Whilst on the toilet a dark haired female goes by the name of Sofia on her badge kept trying the door which was thankfully locked and shouting at me, I’m sick of people like you using the toilets. I explained I had an illness all whilst sitting on the toilet and she began shouting at me. I exited the toilet and attempted to to take her picture which I have of her holding her hand up and pushing my phone at me, stating she was calling the police. I don’t know why, I was then approached by a man of whom I have no idea what position he was who threatened me. The blonde elderly lady seemed very dismayed and I am totally shocked by this behaviour. I really go hope they never find themselves in my position today where I couldn’t walk to another facility due to my disability and illness. Firstly if Costa read reviews and actually cared about this branch then they would have spared me this excruciating Customer service experience . The infamous Manager who has a serious negative review following sadly served me and delivered her usual disrespectful, vile, whispering, eye rolling, hateful, curt delivery. Challenged her openly and asked her if She had something to say to me rather when whispering rude conversation about me to her colleague who was preparing my drink as it was plain I was not happy with her attitude. She refrained from elaborating. I visited this branch as I am a regular visitor to other Costas who are obviously not related in the manners stakes to this shocking place. I shall not be returning and if I was not caught unaware of this persons presence when entering then I would have made a quick exit before it was too late. This Costa has 3 tables available to sit outside on the pavement.Inside they offer around 20 tables which are in a very spacious setting & all on ground level.During my visit today around 3.15pm I found the store to be surprisingly really quiet & able to have a table seat outside in the sunshine. Inside I noticed the display shelving for cakes,muffins etc,to say sparse would be an understatement as they were virtually empty,which was very disappointing. But I did have a piece of rocky road which had 50% off to accompany my gingerbread latte as the well advertised Tropical Mango Frappe wasn't available. The Barista service when ordering was OK, nothing to shout about ,don't know if its because they'd had a busy day or not but something was amiss, not great interaction from the staff as if its too much trouble.
