Cafe Black in Stamford is a great place to get your coffee fix! Located on the High Street, it's easy to find and has plenty of seating. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to help you out with whatever you need. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, making it a great spot for catching up with friends or taking a break from the hustle and bustle of the city.
The menu offers a wide variety of drinks and snacks, from classic coffees to specialty teas and smoothies. There are also light meals available such as sandwiches, salads, and pastries. Everything I've tried so far has been delicious! Prices are very reasonable too - definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.

Read moreThis cafe is among many in Stamford, however I find myself going back to this particular place more often than others, the coffee is fairly adequately priced, with a "loyalty" stamp card system which is always a nice bonus. Frequently having to dive out of the way of the swift staff serving tables, this could be just me though as being a 6"3 unit, I can appreciate that Its probably more that I'm just taking up too much room. Nonetheless, service is always fast and staff are always friendly. The owners daughter seems to sometimes come out and assist, it's clear that she is carrying this business and they would be nothing without her help, give...
Read moreVisited today as knew it had new owners, very very disappointed. There were 4 of us, 1 ordered full breakfast, other 3 sausage or bacon baps. 2 baps came out quite quickly but baps had no butter in them and were very dry, asked for sauce which took about 5 minutes to come. Waited 15 minutes before the rest of the party got their food and for some reason the third Bap had butter in it. Full breakfast had toast with but had to ask for butter which took a good couple of minutes. Also 2 baps we asked for bacon to be very well cooked but it wasn't but the full breakfast had very well cooked bacon. Coffee also not fantastic. For £46 would have definitely expected better service and better food so will be going back to using Frothy's where we get excellent...
