A nice coffee shop in the centre of Stamford. On warmer days there is some outside seating which is lovely to watch the world go by. Due to the outdoor seating being full we sat inside for this visit. My partner and I had a coffee and shared a delicious peanut stack (if you like peanut and chocolate I would highly recommend this). The coffee is quite a dark roast but not bitter and worked well iced and hot. The prices were reasonable for a town based cafe. The staff were helpful when asking about dietary preferences and they checked the label thoroughly for us to ensure it was vegetarian. The place could do with a bit of a freshen up to modernise but overall it was a nice place to stop for a coffee and sweet treat when in Stamford.

Service took a long time to come to us, they had only 1 other table in that had already got their drinks/cakes, so they were not busy at all unlike alot of other coffee shops nearby. I ordered the biscoff cheese cake and was given vanilla. They then proceeded to forget about our drinks so we had to ask again, the male barista was standing doing nothing on his phone for 20 minutes, we were waiting 30 minutes when the waitress told us they had run out of milk so we would have to wait even longer. Once the drinks finally showed up, they were appalling taste wise. This probably explains why they were not busy like the other cafes. I wouldn't recommend coming here.

Ive visited this gem of a café in Stamford a few times now not only they served one of the most flavourful heirloom bruschettas I’ve ever had, but also welcomed my four-legged companion with open arms! What truly made the visit special was how dog-friendly the café was. My dog, Benji, was treated like a guest, not just an afterthought. The staff even brought him a bowl of water and gave him a few friendly pats while we waited for our food. It’s not always easy to find places that cater to both foodies and fur babies, but this spot nailed it. Would definitely recommend this cafe you won’t be disappointed.

Cafe Black in Stamford is a great place to get your coffee fix! Located on the High Street, it's easy to find and has plenty of seating. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to help you out with whatever you need. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, making it a great spot for catching up with friends or taking a break from the hustle and bustle of the city.

The menu offers a wide variety of drinks and snacks, from classic coffees to specialty teas and smoothies. There are also light meals available such as sandwiches, salads, and pastries. Everything I've tried so far has been delicious! Prices are very reasonable too - definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.

Overall, Cafe Black is an excellent cafe that I would highly recommend visiting if you're ever in Stamford. It's definitely one of my favorite spots for grabbing a quick bite or just chilling out...

This cafe is among many in Stamford, however I find myself going back to this particular place more often than others, the coffee is fairly adequately priced, with a "loyalty" stamp card system which is always a nice bonus. The stores interior is it's biggest downfall personally, not that this is fault of the owners or staff, its a small place with not much room to stand around and wait for your drink when taking out. Frequently having to dive out of the way of the swift staff serving tables, this could be just me though as being a 6"3 unit, I can appreciate that Its probably more that I'm just taking up too much room. Nonetheless, service is always fast and staff are always friendly. The owners daughter seems to sometimes come out and assist, it's clear that she is carrying this business and they would be nothing without her help, give...

Visited today as knew it had new owners, very very disappointed. There were 4 of us, 1 ordered full breakfast, other 3 sausage or bacon baps. 2 baps came out quite quickly but baps had no butter in them and were very dry, asked for sauce which took about 5 minutes to come. Waited 15 minutes before the rest of the party got their food and for some reason the third Bap had butter in it. Full breakfast had toast with but had to ask for butter which took a good couple of minutes. Also 2 baps we asked for bacon to be very well cooked but it wasn't but the full breakfast had very well cooked bacon. Coffee also not fantastic. For £46 would have definitely expected better service and better food so will be going back to using Frothy's where we get excellent...
