Nepalese Vansa Ghar — Restaurant in South Kesteven

We attended on a Thursday evening there were a number of people all ready seated and eating. The staff were friendly and attentive and we were quickly guided to a table. Service more than acceptable. Our drinks order was quickly taken and served. Our food order was then taken and after a short time the starters were served. Very tasty and more than enough for two, even though we were sharing the starter. After a short break the mains were served. The food was nicely presented, hot (temperature) and extremely tasty. This is our 3rd visit plus 2 takeaways from here. We love this place. The service is really good and friendly. The atmosphere is authentic and the food... What can I say but sensational. My husband always has the Himalayan hot pot and it never disappoints. He forgets how good it is until he tries it again and says that he'll only have that as he can't get enough of it. I tried the lamb chattinad for the first time and oh my goodness, I was served with a wonderful spicy but sweet creamy dish from Tamil and I loved it so much. Had a lovely meal at Vansa Ghar last night. Even though I called late to book a table for two the young lady on the phone was so welcoming and accommodating it was refreshing for a 9 pm booking. We had a warm welcome and we didn't feel rushed at all. The service from the lovely lady was impeccable. So sorry, I'm unable to remember your name. The food was very delicious especially our main courses of salmon and goat on the bone. Would thoroughly recommend if you are in Stamford and want a tasty curry.
