A little gem of a find! Could not recommend this cafe enough. Yesterday was our first time going there and all three of us absolutely loved it. The cafe is a wonderful place with unique plant-based meals, suitable for those who are fully plant-based or even those who are not! The cafe was very quaint and made the atmosphere very cosy, with all the staff being so welcoming. The menu changes monthly so you can keep returning! All made with locally sourced produce and seasonal ingredients, making the meals very unique, particularly the seasonal salad pictured below! I would absolutely recommend The Blonde Beet to anyone looking for a cosy place for a coffee or lunch, it’s a gem of a find which you have to try at least once! p.s. This place gets really busy so I would recommend booking a table as there is limited seating, and you wouldn’t want to miss out! Also, please just be aware that there are some steep steps up to the upstairs seating (in case this information is required for accessibility reasons), otherwise there are a few tables in the courtyard outside.

Went today to meet a couple of friends, and had a lovely time here. The food was delicious! I had the cauliflower tacos (flavoursome and filling), and the cashew and date cheesecake (came with summer berries - the whole dish was amazing!). The main seating area up the stairs had a lovely cozy vibe. There is also a patio area with seats on the ground floor. For anyone who wants to pick up some goodies for pick-up/takeaway, there is a little bakery bar downstairs with the day’s selection of brownies, cakes and cookies: i got a chocolate brownie and a blueberry and oat blondie - the blueberry one was so nice! I didn’t get to try the brownie as my son scoffed it, but he said it was really nice! Jo and her team were all so friendly and welcoming. All in all, the food is yummy, and it’s a really welcoming and cozy place to visit. The food is all vegan too, for those interested.

Wow what a rare find. Vegan but also whole food plant based deliciousness. I was blown away by the amazing variety, tastes, texture, presentation. Just can’t stop thinking about it. It was so good I even bought take away to prolong the savoury sensation. Very very close to being spectacular! This is an all vegan eatery but has cow milk for drinks. They also have locally sources plant milk which was fantastic in hot chocolate. Wonderful building terrifically helpful friendly staff. Menu changes every month and I cannot wait to go back.

The Blond Beet is unique in Stamford being the only place serving just vegan dishes. But all of our meat eating friends who we've taken there have been so impressed with the quality of the food. We were there again last Friday evening and our friend Mary, who isn't even the slightest bit vegetarian, said the tomato bisque soup was the best she's ever tasted. I had the smoked aubergine main and it was cooked to perfection. Add to this excellent service and some real old world Stamford charm in the ancient building and it's clear why the Blonde Beet...
