The Wine Bar Stamford — Restaurant in South Kesteven

We come here all the time so decided to book a table on Christmas Eve. Unfortunately it was not the experience we hoped for. We spent over £1000+ as a party of 10 but over the course of the evening (5 hours) we broke two glasses accidentally, one being brushed by a long coat as we were getting ready to leave. Following this we were met with hostility and rudeness by the female staff member behind the bar. The staff member muttered under her breath as we getting ready to leave, well in ear shot of the whole group. Considering we are regular customers we would hope that our custom is more valuable than two glasses.

Lovely little place with great and knowledgeable bar staff. Only one lager but thats not what you're going in there for as the wine and gin selection is epic. Recently upgraded from fever tree tonics to specialist 'spirit enhancers' which make it even better. Also now do premium wine by the glass rather than having to but a whole bottle (some super technical gadgetry involved) which is perfect for those that just want to savour a fine wine in the afternoon. Can't fault it, definitely...
