Fairham's Bar — Restaurant in South Ribble

Staff are unbelievably nice, drinks are reasonably priced and yet still lots of great deals, and a lovely atmosphere with good music, but not so loud you can’t hear the people you’re with! Fabulous wee place & their gin cosmopolitan especially is delicious.

Updated review: have been a good few times now, one time spilled a drink and they replaced it for free even though it was completely my fault. Went another time & didn’t want to make a fuss, but my drink tasted a bit wrong and my partner went to check that the right things were in it. They were super nice about it, came over and checked in with me to try and identify specifically what might have been missing, and remade the drink for me even after I had been saying it was fine and I didn’t want to make a fuss and was happy to drink the first one - & the remade drink was perfect! We visited this bar earlier in the week, and it quickly became one of the highlights of our trip. The decor is both charming and thoughtfully designed, creating a warm, inviting space where you can easily lose track of time. The owners are incredibly personable, taking genuine interest in sharing their story with guests, which made the experience feel even more special. The cocktails were simply outstanding—my partner tried the margarita board and was in absolute heaven. Their gin was exceptional, we try lots and you could tell it was an authentic product. I have been to this once or twice before and been impressed, recently saw the marketing video about the margarita board so we decided to have another visit. To saw that I was impressed is an understatement. It was a busy sunny Saturday afternoon but thought the value was spot on. The Italian blush was waaaay too drinkable on a very very good way. This has resulted in being drawn to this bar as my first now. I have today sampled the Espresso Martini which stacks up favourably against some much more expensive places.
