Beards & Boards Craft Beer Bar — Restaurant in Southampton

I’ve been fortunate enough to visit here on several occasions now and it has never failed to impress. The overall look to the venue is fantastic, with the beards and boards theme running throughout. They offer the opportunity of board games at the table or a round on the PS2, which really adds another level to the place.

They regularly have a great selection of local-ish beers, which they’re more than happy to help you with making a decision on what they order. They also have their own collab beer with Mad Squirrel, which is worth a try.

Love the Boards. The staff are brill and the beer selection is one of the best in Southampton. And what pairs well with great beer you may ask? How about a bloody skateboard to house your beer samples on? Yep they do that too. If you're a punk rock fan you'll love the music; it's every 2000's kid's dream. So glad I stumbled upon this place! Great beer selection at a very reasonable prices (from session to stout, by way of IPA, west coast, new england, sour and so on; all the classics) + a sweet location with outdoor tables + cool music + board games + last but not least, an amazing/knowledgeable staff! Went there twice and I'm looking forward to visiting again when I'm back in Southampton. If you like craft beer, do not overlook this place.
