Chunky Chips — Restaurant in Southampton

Whilst driving down the M3, I put in an order for Chunky Chips with JustEat. Just to confirm that they had the order, I rung them, and told them that I was currently on the M3. Did he listen? No. Apparently, it would have been ready about 30 minutes after we arrived home. However, I then get a call only 20 minutes after placing the order from the delivery Driver from Chunky Chips who asked me where I was, as he was outside my house with my food. I then told him to look at the reciept and tell me, what time my food was due to be delivered. He allegedly looked at the receipt and confirmed the correct time of 19:30 (an hour before my food was due to be delivered). So, I told him to go back to the shop and get the shop manager to call me. So, he went back to the shop, and I got an abusive call from the shop manager. About 10 minutes later, I got a call from JustEat to inform me that my order had been cancelled. I demanded that I get my money back, and I was told that I would. However I wouldn't get it back for 10 working days. There's a moral to this; Never order from Chunky Chips, because their staff are completely rude and abusive, and friends of mine who have ordered from there have said that the food is...

I am really disgusted by the way I was treated by the staff here. On 2 occasions, drinks I had ordered where not provided with my delivery. The manager informed me to collect my drinks on my next visit to this place and on doing so, his staff refused to provide my drinks. I finally managed to get one missing drink from the manager which I wasn't happy about. Astonishingly one of the staff shouted out to me just as I was leaving [in the manager's presence] 'It makes me happy to make women angry' - this is by far the worst experience I have and do not recommend...

I had the Chicken Doner Wrap meal for £7. Very good value. Loads of chicken, salad and sauce. Keep me going for about 48 hours. I had chilli sauce which was quite piquant, maybe the barbecue sauce if hot & spicy isn't for you. Only disappointment was the chips. With the place being called "chunky chips" I was hoping for some big fat old fashioned thick cut potato ones, but they were fries not even chips. Next time I'll have the chicken doner wrap on its own which is a two day meal for a fiver and as good value as you are going to get...
