Today I had the unfortunate experience of interacting with a manager called Debera. As someone with an allergy on many occasions I have ordered a burger without the sesame seed bun and during the drive through telecom request the regular cheeseburger bun as a replacement. On this occasion the message must have been lost in translation because I received a bunless burger. When I explained the situation I had the displeasure to be met by Debera who condescendingly spoke to me, even asking if I had bought a separate cheeseburger just for the bun. She explained that she could not do what I had asked and he confirmation of over the telecom, despite this never being an issue on many occasions before and when I asked for a refund she initially refused. Eventually after a little back and forth she did agree to a refund due to my request being promised and not met and insisted I return the bunless burger fries and a drink which was undoubtedly to be binned, which I obliged with. I do not expect a lot from a establishment such as this but being disregarded and spoken down to by management is a big shame, especially when other hard working and respectful employees maintain the customer relationship. I do hope no one else has the displeasure of interacting with Debera, and if the interaction had gone different I wouldn't have bothered writing this, understanding if it was company policy, or even if the manager in question had an ounce of compassion or understanding opposed to rudeness. No one deserves to be belittled by entitled and argumentative managers, especially when it's to do with life-threatening allergies - being spoken down to and be made to seem unreasonable over basic requests or mix ups is...
Read moreStaff were rude and service was poor. Came through the drive thru to get food for my little nephew in hospital and his parents. So when I ordered my friend had said her part of the order and because I forgot tell her they were employee meals she had a go at me. Then when we came through the 2nd window she gave us our drinks and fries and was told to park in one of the parked order bays. Thinking it was going to be around 2-5 minutes wait it took a whole 15 minutes from when we ordered to receive our food because selects take '6 minutes' cook. Then when the woman came out with the order she was missing our mcflurrys. She tried to argue that we were wrong and never ordered them when my friend did and at this point we demanded then for free and all she said was let me check with my manager. At which point I stormed into McDonalds with her where her manager told us to give us our mcflurrys. It was a 5 minute drive to the hospital for us to eat. Enough time for our food to still be hot for us to eat. But because of this poor service we had cold food. As an employee of McDonald's they did not display any of the qualities we are taught and even one was a crew trainer. I know it's not the best paying job but at least be...
Read moreAWFUL PLACE!! we went via the drive through, because it was just after 11pm, the place was empty just one car in front and us... we waited for the car in front to be served...and we waited some more...then the car in front finally got their food,well....A MCFLURRY!!. A good 6-8 mins for an icecream?
Well, then it was our turn. The girl at the counter gave us our lattes straight away! Bonus 👍, but then ... came the wait...we waited so long I'm near on sure they were starting to cook the mcmuffins. We actually reassured ourselves that the wait was soooooo long they must be cooking all of our food fresh.👌 Wrong!! Nothing was freshly cooked, all of it was cold! The chicken legend had just been thrown into it box (to a point the actual chicken burger was sat on top of the buns and the lettuce looked more placed in the box as a side salad than in the bun where it should have been) and the grand big mac was again thrown in the box by someone with clear anger issues, the top beef burger was in two pieces, one half in the bun the other laying sideways on the side of the burger right next to the bacon (also out of the bun). Now don't get me wrong, I love the brand and will still eat their food... but not at...
