The staff, including the delightful Aneka, go above and beyond to ensure that every diner feels welcome and well taken care of. Their attentiveness, coupled with a good sense of humor, adds a personal touch to the dining experience, making patrons feel like cherished guests rather than just customers.
Culinary Delights: The true star of Anasma is undoubtedly its cuisine. Highlights: As part of a party of 8, my partner and I had the pleasure of sampling a variety of dishes, and we were thoroughly impressed with each one. From the tender lamb kebabs to the crisp spanakopita, every dish surpassed our expectations. The portion sizes were generous, allowing us to savor each delectable flavor without feeling overstuffed. Additionally, the well-curated wine list complemented our meal perfectly, offering a selection of Greek wines that paired beautifully with the diverse flavors of the cuisine.

Read moreLet me start off by saying I've been a huge fan of the Newcastle sister location for ages! I drive from 30 minutes out for their portokalopita whenever I can afford it! I love the feel of the place there, I feel looked after and the food is just absolutely delicious. I was with my disabled dad, left him outside to run in and grab a slice of portokalopita from here since we were visiting Trentham Estate. I was excited to get to show him how nice the cakes are here. Only, when I was in there I was met with a very disinterested server. I asked for the orange cake and he had to look for it- what came back was a very thin corner slice. Since I get the cake a lot I knew to ask for a middle piece. He told me "They're all the same." confused, I then said "Oh I'll get a second piece, then". This time he bought out a much thicker middle piece. I felt guilty about making him go and look and I know I love the cakes so I just figured I'd buy two instead. And two cans of coke. The price for two small slices of orange cake and two cans of coke (TAKEAWAY) came to £16. When asked HOW it came to this he told me £5 each for the cakes, £2 for the cans each and then "£2 tax" on cold takeaway food. I was...very confused. But at this point my disabled dad was outside and it was hot so I just paid... But I came away honestly feeling robbed....

On entering the restaurant the staff member on the door told us that my mum would have to leave her mobility scooter outside and walk into the restaurant. When I told the staff member my mum can’t walk, we were told we couldn’t enter as there wasn’t enough space to move around the tables in the restaurant. There was enough space, and the tables were unoccupied, so could be moved. We were told to leave the scooter outside or not to come in. At this point my mum was getting a bit upset so I left her outside and asked to speak to the manager, turns out I was speaking to the manager, who appeared not to care at all that she was breaking the law by not allowing a disabled person access to the restaurant. In case the owner and manager of the restaurant are reading this, you were in breach of the 2010 Equality Act, please try to make your space accessible. We were truly shocked today by the carelessly discriminatory attitude of the staff member we encountered today. I really hope you’re ashamed and change the...
