Went on New Year’s Eve with the family, at 14:40 we were told by someone waiting by the door (staff) that they stop serving at 15:00 … we weren’t planning on taking 20 minutes to order.
What they had in the glass cabinet wasn’t what was on offer to eat hot.
The staff seemed put out that we wanted to eat in. So much so, they walked over with a bag and said “did you order the takeaway” … we said no, then watched them take it back around the counter and plate it.
The whole time we were sat there was someone hoovering and cleaning around us as if they were closed. The lady cleaning then emptied the bins by the door, after doing this, then grabbed our plates still wearing the same disposable blue gloves and bought the plates over to our table.
The food looked vile. Clearly being nuked and re heated. They had continently left a hoover on, and left on the floor in what seemed like some petty act that they weren’t impressed by us dining in.
I certainly would t recommend this place, it was over priced for what it was, nothing special to eat, vile to look at, unfriendly staff and a cramped atmosphere.

Read moreI don't usually write reviews but this place was deserving for one. Ordered the food online as iI just moved house and it was late. The food tasted so fresh and so flavourful, the mash was creamy and was flavourful, not dry or bland like most mash. The pies were like something I would get if I went back home to my mother's and she cooked me a homemade pie, the sauces were creamy, the meat well tendered, the overall food well seasoned and bursting with a mouthful of flavours.
Only feedback I would give is they forgot my chips and I couldn't contact you to receive them
When buying online offer portion sizes for the sides, would of loved to had a larger portion of peas!
Write on the packaging which pie is which to prevent confusion.
Give a description online of what your pies contain, I like the names of the pies but it doesn't say much about them.
This feedback is only a suggestion but overall I Loved the food I got, definitely...
Read moreWe recently tried a selection of pies and were overall very pleased with the experience. Each one had its own unique flavor profile, and it was fun to compare our favorites. Personally, I absolutely loved the Stilton pie—the rich, tangy cheese was perfectly balanced with the savory filling, making it the standout for me. My partner, on the other hand, really enjoyed the Chicken Tikka pie. It had a lovely depth of flavor, with just the right amount of spice and a creamy, comforting texture that made it really satisfying.
The Steak pie, while hearty and well-seasoned, had a noticeably strong onion presence that, for my taste, slightly overpowered the rest of the filling. If you're a big fan of onions, it might be right up your alley, but it wasn’t quite to my liking.
Overall, though, the quality of the pies was excellent, and we’d definitely try more from the range...
