The female bar staff are all beautiful, sexy and have some seriously great dance moves (especially Ell, who is a legendary dance diva).
Oh, Hannah's alright as well, especially as she used to be the second best seller of Body Shop in the Stockport South region. Oh, and Sarah is awesome!
The cider is second to none, but I did like South West Orchard that they used to sell in Remedy Bar.
Ahh, Remedy Bar! How I miss that place, before it turned into that awful place called Dr Feelbad's.
Anyway, back to my review.
I've given this place 5 stars and I would have given it 5+, but I'm really unhappy about the log burner being for show only! I mean, who does that?!

Read moreRefreshing to see independent pubs like the angel opening and thriving in the market place. It's becoming a popular place to visit again socially. The angel is well run with efficient bar staff (no long waits to be served) but the only reason I missed a star out is because I find the real ale (my drink of choice) always seems a few degrees colder than other similar establishments. I have discussed this with a member of staff and they assured me at the time that the beer is kept at the correct temperature for cask ale. Maybe there's something cooling it between cask and pump, but it definitely affects the flavour negatively (for me personally). Otherwise a cracking town...
