Just had a mega mixed grill. I was a bit dubious at first because of the £20 price. But was I glad I chose it.

I've had a lot of mixed grills from other pubs but this is by far the best I've ever had everything was cooked to perfection and I only just managed to eat it all. Gammon wasn't too salty. Chicken wasn't dry like most places and the steak was cooked medium rare like I ordered and melted in the mouth. Even the onion rings were spot on. I honestly couldn't fault one bit of it.

We came the other week I had the Katsu Chicken very nice. Returned today to try the Sunday roast. I had Halloumi Fries as a starter followed by the Half Roast Chicken. While portions of the meat were not as generous as some of the other pub restaurants in the Didsbury area the cost was considerably cheaper. I recently went to The Dog and Patrick for a pub lunch with my office colleagues and had a thoroughly disappointing experience. I ordered the buffalo taco rolls, which were supposed to come with guacamole and spicy rice. However, the guacamole was completely missing from my meal. The rice, which was supposed to be spicy, turned out to be just plain rice served with a sweet chili sauce. It was neither flavorful nor enjoyable.
