Jaflong Curry — Restaurant in Stoke-on-Trent

Tried to ring all day to book a table. No answer. Turned up at 5.30pm and tried the door and it was locked. Called and someone answered so i asked to place an order for collection. No one in there and definately the first person to get through and they told me it would be a half an hour wait.

I don't mind the wait but not when there's literally no one about and it doesn't take that long to make as all base sauces etc are pre made.

Not sure how you can book a table if you can't get in contact before 5.30 pm obviously not busy if they can just accept all booking 10 mins before you arrive. At half past 5 I tried knocking on and ringing no answer straight away. The waiter wearing the white shirt was also smoking out the back (probably why I couldn't get in).

In the local newspaper The Sentinel it lists the restaurants and takeaways with JUST 1 star hygiene rating. Guess who makes it?

Stay well clear of...

Went to this place some time ago with a friend I had nan bread with chicken tikka masala and rice and a indian pale ale the service was brilliant food was great but now I'm disabled I'm unable to go in on my powerchair like most places they don't cater for disabled people so I don't shop places that dont care about disabled access and they don't get my money it's a shame because the food is lovely jaflong please get disabled access there human and like to eat food like none disabled ppl you can get a grant from the council towards disabled access so...

URGENT!

Birthday party tonight 28th Jun big table us. The 2 people group had been overcharged. Please refund the overcharge asap! I am agitated and concerned regarding the service for our next big party with Jaflong!

Lamb Biryani × 2 £21.80 Cheese Nan × 2 £9.00 Fruit cider x 1 £4.50 ( £4 something) Subtotal £35.30

We have been charged £40 (£40 something for no reason). This is not a healthy practice for not giving out receipts and overcharging customers blindly like this!

I am looking forward to my refund...
