Johnys Micro Pub — Restaurant in Stoke-on-Trent

I had noticed the micro puh before, but never called in. I went in feeling a little anxious, because as a single female it can be a bit awkward walking into a pub alone. There was live music playing ( boat band) who were excellent and a great atmosphere. The staff were smiley and made me feel relaxed. It was smaller than I expected inside, but plenty of interesting things to read on the walls, which was good for me initially as I had no one to talk to. Myself and my son were turned away because it was too busy. I get that a place is restricted to numbers for fire safety etc however he then let in a group of more than 8 lads. Obviously if your face fits and you're a football fan then he wants your business! Only gave one star to review the place as you can't give no stars. He obviously has the clientele he wants and doesn't want...

Been enjoying a pint or two for nearly 60 years, all over the world. Have had a number of locals, in that time, but this is the number 1, and that's no reflection on all the others.
