After following Corte Campana on Instagram for ages I was excited to finally take my wife for a Sunday pizza. We each ordered our pizzas, which arrived pretty rapidly, within seconds my wife said her pizza was bland and soggy with residual underneath, I called over the waitress who asked if she’d like another, which she did, the replacement was lovely, as was mine. The restaurant was pretty quiet, the two young waitresses seemed more interested in doing chores behind the counter rather than checking on customers to see if everything was ok, the plates were cleared from our table, and we got nothing back from the waitress as to whether or not we’d enjoyed our pizzas. I said to my wife I’d fancy a coffee and Tiramisu, we then sat there for 25-30 minutes like we were invisible, we finally gave up, my wife went to the counter and paid the bill, we left. I really wanted to like this place and give it the support an independent business deserves, looking at the previous reviews customer service clearly needs looking at, you can’t even say it was because they were busy, because it wasn’t! Read moreWe’ve been here before a few times and really enjoyed it so had booked a table for a return visit. When we arrived it seemed they had given our table to someone else, no matter they gave us a table. We then gave our order, a drink and a pizza each, and then waited and waited… and waited, then waited some more! Despite it only having 3-4 tables to attend to not one member noticed we had been sat for nearly 40 minutes with not even our drink being bought to us. We had to ask, and then 15 minutes later we had to chase our food order , which had not yet been passed to the kitchen . After another wait , a waitress arrived with two pizzas, one which we had ordered and one we had not! A second waitress approached with the other pizza we had ordered but the first waitress still tried to give us the unordered pizza, the food was ok, mine wasn’t as nice as on previous occasions but perfectly fine. The issue was the service, despite not being busy they had not noticed the order hadn’t gone through. A 50 minute delay for food in a quiet establishment really isn’t excusable. Read moreHello, today I ordered a slice of pizza from the windows that they usually reheat with good quality for my daughter like i usually do, we never had any problems before in terms of food and service and unfortunately she didn’t like it and when I tasted it I realized why, today it was a lower quality which was really unusual, so I took one of the staff aside so I wouldn’t start any unnecessary drama over something small and told them nicely that the pizza was a little lower in quality today and then walked outside after the conversation was over, swiftly after another man (seemingly the manager) walked outside to my table and started loudly sarcastically insulting me in front of everyone (even though that wasn’t my motive at all) I told him that I didn’t want it to be in front of all these people to start unnecessary drama but the man just kept going, creating a panic with me and my children, eventually I left and decided to write this review as nice as I could as it pains me to do so but his reaction to this was very unprofessional and rude.
