Group of 10 booked 18th May , table was booked for 7.30 arrived at 7.15 and was quite rudely ushered to table . We were advised the group selection by staff Food arrived garlic bread dripping in oil and meat with cheese none of which was appetising, Next dishes consisted of extremely dry meatballs with no taste , chicken which contained no actually meat and over cooked chorizo, with some very over cooked vegetables Next came out steak and chips if could be described as such . One platter containing 10 slices of very thin cut steak and approximately 20 wedges ( bearing in mind we were a party of 10) Add to this the customers dogs allowed to run riot in restaurant and not one staff member asking if anything else needed we all left very very disappointed and extremely hungry sorry but would not recommend or be...

What a lovely pub with really helpful staff! We found The Bull last evening after being let down by one of the Greene King pubs nearby when they “lost” our booking. Luckily we came upon The Bull and explained our situation to a very helpful young lady behind the bar; we needed to try and eat and be away to attend a classical concert nearby. Not only did she find us room on a table in this very busy pub, but she spoke with the chef and plates of delicious tapas were appearing on our table within minutes.
