Dragon Inn — Restaurant in Tendring

I didnt even get my food! Order was placed at 7:20pm Waited the alotted time (1hr30min) for the food for it not to arrive, i phoned Bamboo Gardens to be told by the very unhelpful person that they had 1 driver on tonight (fine no problem i get there short staff which is delaying things) to be told it would be another 30mins. The person apologised but if I'm honest didnt sound that sorry. I waited the 30mins (now 2hours) to be told it was on its way. Great i thought but it is getting close now to them closing (10pm) i wait 15 more mins to phone again and be told that they have 2 deliveries left and mine was not one of them and that they didnt have my order!!! They could not tell me why my order had been delayed/lost, they then asked me if i could go and collect it!!! I paid £2 for delivery and then i had to go get it, I DON'T THINK SO. I'm fuming if they had told me when I first called that my food was not coming I would not of waited the 2hrs 30mins. I will not be using Bamboo...

Restaurant told Just Eat it was delivered after an hour and half wait but it was not. After a call (we were polite on the phone but they hung up on us!) and a further 30 minute wait until it arrived. Cold and looking like it was cooked yesterday. We threw it away… Most expensive Chinese takeaway in the area, waited two hours and the food was not edible. Will not use again and revert to the excellent Golden Rice.

Update 15th October 2024: We gave this another shot as we received a menu through the door saying they were under new management. Took over an hour to arrive with all food being either cold or like warm. It was greasy, had very little meat in the dishes and some food you could not even cut as it was rock solid! So upset as it’s an expensive place. We didn’t even bother complaining this but just threw it away. I doubt they are under new management to be fair and this was just a ploy to get more orders. They are also no longer on Just Eat - perhaps too many have left...

Phoned up for delivery

polite man picked up phone and took order my menu is over two years old but the number worked order what they had as to try the food turned up within 30 minutes what was good the delivery driver took 10 minutes out side on his phone so the food was cold bone found in rice or I hope it was a bone now for the good part if it was hot and the driver was not on the phone think it would have been a nice meal it's also a shame you ask for a new menu two times and still don't get one

Trying this place on just eat never again

munchie box was very oily still mopping it up. chicken balls tast salty like they're proses and egg fried rice have a strange taste now on to the Singapore rice and noodles the noodles was burnt they're seemed to be cooked in a bucket of oil and the rice seemed to be cooked in the same way over cooked. flavour was indescribable the chilli tasted like it was out of a bottle so not...
