Fusion Bites — Restaurant in Tendring

The food was overall quite tasty. The only problems were the masala chai which was incredibly tiny and still quite pricey, and the incredibly greasy poppadoms. The service was incredibly slow and we got the chai after all the other food, we had to get another drink while we waited. The thing is, there was no one else there. It felt dangerously cluttered and messy, to the point where it could seriously jeopardise any chance of a decent hygiene rating. The place is awaiting hygiene ratings but I suspect it will get a 3 or below. There was obstructing clutter towards the toilets and the front of the house was quite cluttered too. There was also a random old stove next to one of the tables. It did not feel appetising or clean and eating here felt worrying because of the dangerous clutter and mess. I previously had good experience ordering takeaway away from them (collection). Unfortunately, I had a bad experience last week. I have placed an online order on 22nd August. The order was never delivered but the money was debited from my account. I tried to reach out to them on multiple occasions and have even visited their shop on 22nd and 27th August.
