Given it's prime location on Ramsgate harbour I have to say my expectations were not particularly high when we took our table outside in the forecourt overlooking the harbour. If only I had taken the time to read the reviews of A La Turka I would have known what an extraordinary customer experience I was about to have. Make no mistake this is the real deal, genuine authentic Turkish food and what glorious food we were treated to. We selected the special sharing Meze as our lunchtime treat, enough for 3/4 people apparently. It did not disappoint! In fact it exceeded our expectations. The quality of the fresh foods was stunning! Cooked to perfection and busting with authentic Turkish flavours, impossible to fault. The staff were super professional, welcoming and efficient. Big shout out to Henry in particular who, with his playful sense of humour made our gastronomic experience even more special. This is a truly wonderful eating out experience with huge parasols and a warm, relaxed atmosphere. We were even lucky enough to have a little bit of sunshine too! If you love Turkish food... I guarantee A La Turka will not disappoint. 10/10 for A La Turka and Henry!

Ordered on a quiet Monday ...two prawns that got delivered barely lukewarm (I live few minutes away from the restaurant) and with shells (not the first time I had the dish) You are supposed to dip with the bread they give you but that got ruined. I specified to get extra sauce for both dishes they have sent me garlic mayo and ketchup ( they were thinking that I'm gonna use them for the dishes? ) The description (King prawns sautéed in our chef special >>sauce<< served with rocket and lemon) and as well no rocket or lemon. I called them and they told me to resolve it with Uber... nothing was offered besides an apology. As friendly as you may be if you can't help or willing to help it's pointless. In the end, you lost a customer.

Nice Turkish restaurant diner on the seafront but pricey as you'd expect. The food was plentiful and great tasting although my lamb shank was flavoured differently to what I was hoping/expecting .. still very nice though. A couple of things let the place down for me apart from overall cost, but by no means a deal breaker: some waiting staff were not very attentive (wrong tea, forgotten cola, ask for 1 knife and get a whole table set), and the toilets were of tasteful decor but a little unclean - separate cubicles so social distancing maintained at least. Parking is a little sparse so you might need to go further afield to somewhere like Albion Place just up the road. Overall, a good place to eat out if you have deeper pockets.

Staff very welcoming all with smiles. I love the decor...not too over the top but cozy and clean. Starters was good and with adequate portions. Drinks were lovely and was not lacking on the alcohol....the main meal however, I won't say it is authentic Turkish food but it tasted OK. Desert looked nice but could of been .ore flavoursome. All in all especially for the polite and easy-going staff, I'll give them a 4 overall....very hard to find good service these days...especially as we visited from London.
