Café Grill — Restaurant in Thanet

Visited the cafe grill bistro again yesterday. Have been using this gorgeous little place for about 10 years now, albeit only 2 weeks in every year but never have I been disappointed. Let's start with the menu. How can they deliver when they offer so much? From a fry up, burgers, steak and chips? Ok so many venues can pull this off. Hang on though, we now are looking at full roast (every day, with a choice of meat or veg option) curry's, mousaka, pasta dishes, calamari. Jack of all trades you may think? Hell no. Over the years I and my guests (because I trust this place to bring people) have never let down. The staff are lovely and the value for money is frankly ridiculous. Can I ask you you to consider one little thing? Could you offer a small plate menu that is more exciting than the kids menu. Smaller meals for us older ladies because I feel awful leaving so much of such good food. One last thing. Thank you for not letting people use my favourite place as a public toilet. Appallingly aggressive waiter. I simply wanted double egg and chips. I had to send back as beans were put on the plate. Said sorry and asked if eggs could be runny - as a reminder as I had mentioned this went ordering. The waiter seems to take this as an insult and said really aggressively that they were runny. He the returned with my plate with totally undercooked snotty eggs.Seriously under cooked and it was like an "up yours". I could have sent it back but thought he was brewing for a argument and left it. I've never given a bad review on tripadvisor before but thought this bloke's hateful behaviour should be noted. I got a set breakfast 1 and my mum got the special breakfast, I do not like egg, tomato or hash browns so the guy serving told me I could change those things to sausages, however my mums was all the things but when the food came out mine was only 2 sausages when we got told it would be 4, one slice of bacon and a tiny amount of beans, my mum only got one bit of tiny bacon, one sausage and a tiny egg and beans.
