hidden gem alert! stumbled across siam kitchen by accident while otw to a different dinner spot - caught my attention when i walked by, then took a sharp u-turn spontaneously and so glad i did! from the decor to music to service, everything was perfect. i felt like i was instantaneously transported to thailand! complimentary prawn crackers were so fire!!! i ordered pineapple fried rice with prawns and mango sticky rice, of which both were perfectionnnnnn. prawns were fresh, fried rice was fragrant and the crunchy cashew and juicy pineapples really sealed it for me. mango sticky rice was served piping hot, the chewy rice paired with the juicy mango pieces and crunchy sesame seed MAMA MIA!!!!! and not forgetting how value for money everything was!!! £18 for a main, drink and dessert AND 10/10 quality???? i would actually travel here all the way from london just for all of the above. highly recommended!!!

We went for our 10th Anniversary dinner here. The restaurant is a typical Thai restaurant with nice ambience. We reserved table upfront on a Thursday evening, but the restaurant wasn’t that busy. Starters we had Chicken Satay skewers and Dim sum chicken and prawn, was nice and tasty. For mains we red curry with jasmine rice and pad thai chicken. The only reason why one star is less for food is the chicken drumstick and breast in curry was with skin. I never seen chicken with skin in Thai restaurant. Otherwise overall a yum meal. Server was polite. Prices are reasonable.

Stumbled upon this little family run restaurant after a day at the beach. Was so impressed when we saw the extensive menu and the extremely generous pricing. The lamb massaman was the highlight of my meal. Meat fell off the bone, was so tender and the curry sauce was bursting with flavours. Pad Thai was also delicious with a nice smokiness to it. Host was very friendly too. Hope to come back in the future!

From the moment we were left waiting to be seated for our reservation till we were coldly seated, our impression was not great. It was when the server very rudly rushed us to order giving us a deadline to vacate the table that we suddenly felt that this was a very wrong choice to celebrate our anniversary. (Mind you it was over 2 hours so felt the comment was unnecessary, rude and made us not feel welcome but most importantly a total disregard to the celebration we stated at the booking.) All this aside, this is a dated, small, underwhelming excuse for a restaurant. The food was unimpressive, small portions delivered with not a care or friendly service. It was a shame that we chose this for our last night in Broadstairs, it has left such a bad taste. The food was awful, staff shocking and overall vibe cold and uncomfortable. We could not wait to leave and not only would not go back but would strongly recommend checking out other more desirable options...
