Beaches Cafe Bar — Restaurant in Thanet

Went to this cafe with group of family and friends. The way my boyfriend was treated by the owner (scruffy man with a beard) was absolutely disgusting. My bf who isn’t speaking English very well tried to order his tea and breakfast, but was quickly judged by the owner as a rude customer. We were treated horribly. At the point of receiving our food and cutlery( which were almost thrown at us) we were close to getting up and leaving the cafe. But as we were with a group of friends we didn’t want to make a scene. When at the end of our visit I politely asked the owner why he was so rude he replied that “this is not the Costa and this is his cafe and he will do whatever the F... he wants” At this point I couldn’t believe his reaction. I just can’t believe owner of the business treats customers with a such a disgrace. That was a very disappointed morning......

i went here for breakfast and it was just horrible. the "flat white" we ordered literally tasted like instant coffee with hot milk. just dont offer it if you cant do it. we also ordered 2 english breakfasts and the sasuages were stone cold in the middle so we sent them back and they were back with us so quick and boiling hot so they were obviously microwaved which reflecting the price is just disgusting. as we were waiting for the sasuages to be cooked again we realised the beans were stone cold too and everything was swimming in grease . do not understand how they can serve cold in the middle sasuages.food poisioning waiting to happen if someone ate that. would...

Lovely relaxing cafe with quality food. We ate one meat and one veggie breakfast and both were yummy. The eggs were the best I’ve had in ages - apparently the eggs and meat are all locally sourced and free range. The lunch menu looked yummy too. The cafe is in a great spot to relax and people watch. The staff are friendly and professional. There is a proper high hair which our son could actually eat off (not one without a table which is the wrong height for the table, like a lots of places) and even toys for him to play with!
