Creams Cafe Rickmansworth — Restaurant in Three Rivers

We tried this place for the very first time. The service was terrible. I ordered 2 desserts one for my son and myself. After over an hour waiting only one dessert came. When we asked one of the staff what happened with the other dessert we were met with confrontation to say “there is only 2 staff crew today” when I told her that after waiting for over an hour I wish to cancel my order (for which they charged us upfront even before you have had the order) I was initially told that they would not do a refund on an order that they have not served me. This simply is nothing short of thef! I was shocked and insisted I get my money back for an order that I didn’t receive after a lot of aggravation they eventually gave me my money back NO Apology at all. This actions are sheer dishonesty that they don’t supply the goods despite one hour and then you are told we don’t do refunds.Avoid this place it’s run by absolute cowboys and ametuers as I discovered to my shock today.They deserve NO Stars but unfortunately with a review the minimum is one star. I would never go here again!!!!!

Sadly they didn’t have the decency to apologies but decided to ignore us.

The only reason it’s got 1 star was as the food made up for the horrible experience I had when coming to this restaurant yesterday, when I first walked in bare in mind there were no other customers in there I was stood waiting for five minutes when I could see the workers stood out back talking and on there phones, I then didn’t think much of it but got told I can sit wherever so I did. I then went up to order and was served by the tall older looking Asian man I went up and said ok so my table number is 18 (as you normally would) and he in a rude manner replied back I am aware of that I was then trying to order and he repeatedly kept telling me wait, wait , wait bare in mind I was speaking very slowly the whole time I was ordering with him it made me feel extremely uncomfortable and he was just coming off rude the whole time, to be honest I’m suprised I didn’t just walk out but I wanted to have a nice evening with my partner have been here many times before in the past and it has never been this bad but from reading the reviews which I have now I wish I had done in the first place. Hot day decided to treat my little boy and his two friends. Went to counter asked for menu,sat at table got back up and asked if it was table service “No order at counter !” Ok They weren’t busy (6 other people in a place that seats 50!) Went to counter after 10 minutes deciding with the children Started to place order “Don’t have that available!” Next order “that’s also not available!” In fact of the 5 different ice creams we wanted to order none were available!!!! Asking why was told “ manager didn’t order it!” I asked politely why couldn’t inform us of their predicament so we hadn’t wound up the children with their choices “ isn’t my fault it’s the managers fault!” Me “ I don’t care about fault just a sign saying low on supplies please ask what’s available “ “Not my job!” There were 2 people working there! I left and won’t bother to return EVER!! Which is a shame as myself and my boy love ice cream! What a shame that not bothering to put 7 simple words on a sign has cost them a customer for life!
