Rasal Restaurant — Restaurant in Three Rivers

We have been going to this restaurant for many years not every month or every week . Our mother decided to take us here this evening . she Telephoned and booked earlier on this morning and asked if we could have the window table. we’ve alway had for about 12 years he will see what he can do. We arrived at the restaurant at 6:30 . The restaurant had one client we asked for the front table and the waiter said no it’s booked .we said nothing we just sat down. My mother asked do you have new owners and their waiter said no it’s the same Owners of 21 years time. We felt pressurised in ordering we wanted to have a chilling out evening but we found tonight they just wanted us in and out. Cut a long story short we finished our meal very disappointed with the service the food was good but very small portions . to amazements no one sat in the window .we would never go to this...

The drinks and poppadoms came up very quickly but then we waited an hour for our starters which were acceptable at best. They were heavily underseasoned and dry. After this we wondered where our mains were as it took another 50 minutes. As it turns out they probably cooked the curry for this long as the chicken breast in the curry was beyond dry and hard. As well as this, the plates they gave were dirty and greasy (which were replaced). My naan hadn't been served and when I asked where it was the waiter got defensive and said I hadn't ordered one. Poor service, Poor food. Ruined our anniversary meal.They sat us next to the toilets and barged by us all night, the service was slow and unfriendly- yes it was a Saturday night but surely that's when you would expect everyone to be at their best? Our boneless Chicken Chaat had a bone in it that chipped my tooth. The manager explained that it's meant to be boneless and offered me a replacement but by that point We had been put off.
