Mexica Chinese Buffet — Restaurant in Three Rivers

Out of respect and love I put 5 stars but sadly with how you treated me and my brother last week our whole family won't return again even if you make the best salt n pepper chicken wings and the best chicken n sweetcorn soup because I felt you are far from God. When we lived in London we came maybe ten years and even after we moved outside London, thst day I called and I was told last entry 2pm as 2 30 its closing due to traffic on the m25 and new road blocks which made us park at waitrose hence why we arrived 5 minutes later to wee only 2 wings left so I asked if they can cook more wings which I was rudely told that it's not possible then the manager came out and said the kitchen is closed.. but it's not closing till half past so makes no sense to close the kitchen which can be opened plus they can't expect people to est cold left others there was hardly any food there and to pay the full price I didn't even think about that and she said if you came at 2pm maybe..but we are loyal customers over many years and during covid we ordered half of your restaurant few times and you know we only love the wings especially so it was very unfair to say the kitchen is closed what's the point to be open till 2 30 then and if you see good running low why not top it up there were still few people eating I asked patiently and nicely again with a plate in my hand yet she again repeated like a robot which then I put the plate down and told my brother to out his soup down and we left like I said to you before we won't be back this is not a nice way to treat people we were so happy it was the day before our fast after such a long drive and wasting time but we went to the pub and enjoyed the meal there and God is watching let Jesus forgive you for your greed, take care...

Mexica Buffet have maintained a 5 star from me, I've been here quite a few times since my last review, and the quality has been absolutely spot on everytime, and what makes it even better is the very friendly staff. They're very kid friendly too which is a lovely experience, i've taken other family members here and they've also enjoyed themselves greatly. Prices have gone up since my last review but they are defintely fair increases in todays world and still very much worth the money - i'd prefer price increases over drops in quality anyday - you can tell the staff really care about what they do - keep up the good work :) I'd also like to point out they've got busier since my last review, but they manage it very well, and remain absolutely professional and friendly.

OLD BUT STILL RELEVANT REVIEW Just had a lovely meal, this is my second time visiting and both times have been excellent - we travelled 40 minutes to come here as it’s worth the drive as it’s undoubtably the best Chinese buffet around - the food is always hot, it’s always tasty and the staff could not get any more friendly.

I don’t think it’s possible to get a better value Chinese as the prices are reasonable, the food is excellent and fresh and the staff are lovely.

We have 3 kids and they could not cater for us any better.

The building admittedly is small and no frills and could do with some minor maintenance, but for the price charged and the quality of food served I don’t think it’s reasonable to expect any better - the building is certainly not falling apart as another review has said.

This is by far the best Chinese buffet in and around the Watford area for price and quality. I have been coming here for years now and the food has always consistently been delicious and affordable. They offer a cheaper price point during the week at lunchtime, I recently visited on a Saturday evening and dinner was £16.50 pp, which is amazing considering the wide selection on offer, including salt and pepper squid, prawns, chicken satay, beef dishes, chicken, soups and more.
