Portions are huge and lovely. We ordered a variety of dishes, so I got to sample a little of everything.

The pasta was scrumptious, and my taste buds were tingling for more. It was such a shame it wasn't my dish!

The mussels came in a delicious sauce, and my OO happily devoured the entire bowl.

I found the calamari a little bland. I'd recommend sharing it as there's only so much fried batter I can handle. If you do order this and the mussels, try dipping the calamari in the mussel sauce, it adds more to the taste.

The cannelloni was rich and cheesy. It was lovely but a bit too heavy for me to finish.

The pizza did the job. It was certainly nice enough, but I personally prefer other pizzas elsewhere.

Sunday lunch at Maurizios . My first visit. A starter pizza was excellent, the side salad too. The pastas portions were generous but very average. Given a pack of spaghetti and a bottle of sauce, I am sure I could have done just as well The atmosphere was spoilt by very shouty diners close by making it almost impossible to speak. We did not stay long and were glad when we had finished our meal and could escape the din. The inconsiderate behavior of customers is not the fault of the restaurant, but they should try to keep a lid on such bad behavior and seat larger parties at the far end of the restaurant leaving small groups to enjoy their meal in peace. I will return one day for their pizzas...
